A Spokane native, Michael later moved to Cusick, Washington, where he completed high school before serving in the United States Navy. During his service, he worked on F/A-18C aircraft aboard the USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN-72) flight deck during Operation Southern Watch. The experience instilled discipline, resilience, and a strong work ethic, while also helping him realize that military life and war were not the path he wanted long term.

After leaving the Navy, Michael attended college and earned a degree in Industrial Mechanics. While completing his degree, he discovered a passion for real estate and entrepreneurship by beginning to flip houses during college. That hands-on experience gave him valuable knowledge in home construction, renovations, property value, and investment strategy — experience he now uses to help clients make confident real estate decisions.

Following college, Michael used his technical background and welding skills to join the Ironworkers, where he spent five years working in the trade before being accepted into the Boilermakers Union. He then worked for 16 years as a field construction boilermaker, building and maintaining major industrial projects throughout the nation. His years in construction strengthened his expertise in structural systems, project coordination, problem-solving, and attention to detail — qualities that now directly benefit his real estate clients.

Today, as the founder of Real Jensen Homes and an agent with REAL Broker, Michael combines his background in construction, investing, and customer service to provide a practical, hardworking, and results-driven approach to real estate. Known for his honesty, strong communication, and modern marketing strategies, he helps buyers, sellers, and investors confidently navigate the market throughout Spokane and North Idaho.
